Prabha Khaitan Foundation explores global partnerships in Hawaii for art, culture, literature and sustainability
Kolkata: In a significant step towards fostering international collaboration, Kolkata-based Prabha Khaitan Foundation (PKF) recently visited the prestigious East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, to discuss potential partnerships.
The delegation, led by Sundeep Bhutoria, Managing Trustee of the Foundation, engaged in fruitful discussions with East-West Center President, Suzanne Vares-Lum, and department heads to explore joint initiatives in the fields of art, literature, culture, and sustainability.
During the visit, both institutions expressed a shared vision for promoting cross-cultural dialogue, artistic exchange, and sustainable development. This partnership is expected to pave the way for impactful projects that highlight India’s rich cultural heritage on a global platform while aligning with modern sustainability goals. Sundeep Bhutoria also presented Rabindra Nath Tagore’s Gitanjali to Suzanne Vares-Lum, President of the East-West Center in Hawaii.
The East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, promotes better relations and understanding among the people and nations of the United States, Asia, and the Pacific through cooperative study, research, and dialogue.
The visit marks another milestone in the Foundation’s mission to bridge cultures and foster global partnerships that celebrate the arts and address pressing global challenges.
The Foundation expressed its gratitude to the American Centre and their director Elizabeth Lee for her invaluable support in facilitating this meeting
