Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor turns 5

New Delhi: Rajkumar Hirani is a filmmaker who has always struck the right chord with his films and delivered marvellous cinematic experiences.

His films and stories have always been a mirror to society, and one of the landmark films from his oeuvre, ‘Sanju’, the biopic of Sanjay Dutt, has completed five years of its release on Thursday.

Hirani-directed ‘Sanju’ is an achingly beautiful film that delivers solid drama and layered emotions along with a terrific and clap-worthy climax.

It won’t be erroneous to state that ‘Sanju’ is one of Hirani's most accomplished works till date, and the film is a reaffirmation of the master storyteller's grasp over his craft.

The characters are well-etched and powerfully portrayed. ‘Sanju’, in fact, is another classic example of a watertight screenplay that seamlessly weaves intricate drama and emotions into the narrative.
