High-rises change the definition of modern lifestyle
Kolkata, Jun 3 (IBNS): Real estate developers all over the world have a crucial and a common angle towards designing the high-end residential superstructures i.e, its outlook.
Residential properties are not just bricks and concrete any more. They are constructed, rather designed with state-of-the-art technology and building materials.
People want to live in style too. The outlook of a modern day residence has completely changed, giving it a more suave and voguish touch.
"The outlook of a high-rise building is the most important thing, not its comfort level. Why, you may ask. Why am I buying a residential apartment in a high-rise building if I can be comfortable in any other mini housing projects? Lets be very honest, its about luxury," said Basudev Banerjee, a 59 year old resident of Kolkata.
A high rise residential project not only provides a buyer with the satisfaction of owning a residence that is crafted with precision and sophistication; but the project adds its own bit to the skyline of the city and beautifies it.
The real estate developers all over the world are not just trying to build beautiful buildings for the people to live in, it is somewhat about beautifying the cities as well.
A joint report by FICCI and EY, 'Brave new world for India real estate: Policies and trends that are altering Indian real estate' stated that, "After the strong growth momentum in the residential market in 2011 and 2012, sales of residential property declined in 2013 in all metro cities."
The developers are going for optimum use of their resources to build a lavish high-rise that caters to the buyer's style as well.
"Look around the city, you can hardly find green patches or open spaces. If a housing project, provides me a building with green patches latched into the project itself and breathable space without compromising the size of the apartment, isn't it obvious I'll think about it twice," Banerjee added.
One of the most expensive, yet innovative, system that is used in the construction of the high-rise projects is the 'Aluminium Formwork System'. This system ensures that the towers have a monolithic and earthquake resistent 'Reinforced Cement concrete' (RCC) structure.
In a construction like that, there is no requirement of further brick work or plastering work. It ultimately increases the room size as there are no beams and columns trying to hold the superstructure together.
Kolkata's leading real estate developers Primarc in association with Riya has launched its first five star project at Mankundu town in West Bengal near Kolkata, with this housing project using latest Aluminium Formwork Systems to allow smooth edges without beams or pillars in the apartments.
The residential project 'Aura' is offering its residents a five star life, but more than that it is emphasising on the quality of the construction as the real estate firm used Aluminium Formwork System, which is cost effective and at the same time durable.
Primarc's Aura offers the residents with impressive features including its skytrail, superior building materials, more floor space, premium club and a paradise pool.
India has, in past two decades, witnessed a steady rise in the number of high-rise residential projects with luxury spilled all over them.
Another one of Primarc's residential projects, Southwinds' construction offers pile foundation for durability and stability and earthquake resistant RCC superstructure.
First high rise residential project in the southern bypass, Southwinds brings to life world class luxury and comfort.
1323 apartments in 10 blocks and G +11 floors, Southwinds has enough greenery and open spaces to submerge you in peace and harmony. It is one of the most lavish residential projects in South Kolkata nearby Garia, Kamalgachi and Narendrapur.
