Kolkata, Sept 19 (IBNS): There were days when people used to buy, lease or rent a residential property which housed a single family, and then cut to the arrival of the era of vertical growth where buyers flock towards housing complexes which house multiple families.

It's not just about the vertical growth but also about the socio-economic background of the buyers.

59- year- old resident of Kolkata, Basudev Banerjee said, "People have a demographic range that signifies the extent of their interpersonal relationships. When I was growing up, that range was extended to the entire para (local area)."

He added, "That range, these days, has reduced to the people living in your building. People buy homes to privately lead their lives but they need other people around too. It's kind of a contentment for the psyche."

The real estate developers kind of developed the concept of 'community living' by killing two birds in one shot, i.e, by addressing the needs of the buyers to have a safe and friendly environment; and also cutting the land cost by constructing high rise complexes.

These complexes are more than just that though. The housing complexes have conference halls, community halls, pools, gyms etc which are excellent places for socializing.

24- year- old Bangalore-based Engineer, Debabrata Sen said, "Whether I buy an apartment in a posh locality or a small studio apartment over any strategic point of the city, I will look for a housing complex that is full of life and not a dull building which houses two or three families."

India has, in past two decades, witnessed a steady rise in the number of high-rise residential projects with luxury spilled all over them.

Kolkata's leading real estate developers Primarc in association with Riya has launched its first five star project at Mankundu town in West Bengal near Kolkata.

The residential project 'Aura' is offering its residents a five star life, but more than that it is emphasising on the quality of the construction as the real estate firm used Aluminium Formwork System, which is cost effective and at the same time durable.

Primarc's Aura offers the residents with impressive features including its skytrail, superior building materials, more floor space,  premium club and a paradise pool.

The community hall of Aura, 'Navya', is a  lavish, private air-conditioned community hall with an adjoining open terrace spanning 2150 sq ft is ideal for any special events. It can accommodate 150 guests.

Kids zone at Aura is a safe and comfortable area to learn and play. Aura also promises of a club with indoor games; gym; library; yoga and meditation space; swimming pool; multipurpose court; open space for ceremonies; and steam rooms for men and women
