Chicago, Jan 29 (IBNS-Not in Town) For the ultimate Valentines Day, celebrate at The Peninsula Chicago, one of the most romantic settings in the city, pitches the hotel located on the Magnificent Mile of the city .

According to a release, the guests can customize their celebration with a choice of activities.  You can enjoy a cooking class, learn to dance, spend the day relaxing in The Spa or reserve a romantic dinner.


Romantic Dining in The Lobby

Reserve a three-course dinner in The Lobby for the perfect romantic celebration this Valentine’s Day. This special menu is available February 10th through 14th and includes courses such as Foie Gras Lollipop with white chocolate, lime and shechuan peppercorn, American Wagyu Beef Wellington with a bone marrow bordelaise, and Turboy Meniere. 

For dessert, indulge in a Fondant au Chocolat with milk chocolate ginger cream and passion fruit sorbet. For guests dining February 10th and 11th, dinner includes The Lobby’s ‘Chocolate at The Pen,’ offering an endless array of elegant Valentine’s Day bite-sized chocolate delights and petite chocolate delicacies such as Strawberry & Champagne Verrine and Nutella Choux. On Saturday, February 11th, live music and dancing will accompany dinner.  Available at US$ 109 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.

 
Six-Course Dinner in Shanghai Terrace

Those interested in an Asian-inspired dinner can reserve the special six-course menu in Shanghai Terrace. Start with Chef Elmo’s infamous dim sum trio followed by Yuanyang Sabrina, a Westlake beef soup, Sweet and Sour Chicken and finally a Spicy Lamb with Black Bean Sauce. Finish the meal with a Green Tea White Chocolate Raspberry Cake. The Valentine’s Day menu is available from February 10th through 14th at US$ 88 per person, excluding alcohol, tax and gratuity.

 
Asian-Inspired Cooking Class

For those looking to spice it up this Valentine’s Day, The Peninsula’s awarded culinary team will be offering a fun, hands-on cooking class. On Saturday, February 11th in Shanghai Terrace, couples are invited to learn how to prepare a three-course Asian-inspired meal including dim sum, an Asian noodle entrée, and a delectable dessert all while sipping on a glass of champagne. After the class, couples will sit down, relax, and enjoy the wonderful meal they have prepared. The class will take place 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and is available at US$ 159 per couple.


Couples Dance Classes

Dance the night away with a lesson from professional ballroom dancer, Artem Lazarev, and his dance partner on Saturday, February 11th. The award winning duo will teach couples the waltz and salsa in Avenues Ballroom. The two-hour class begins at 2:00 pm and is US$ 159 per couple and includes a welcome glass of champagne. Couples looking to practice their dance skills after the class will receive 15% off in The Lobby for dinner and dancing that evening.

Pamper Yourself in The Spa

Couples looking to relax together this Valentine’s Day can indulge in The Spa’s “Time Together” package. This lavish package for two begins with a full body salt and oil exfoliation followed by a soothing 90-minute side-by-side massage. The two-hour treatment is available at US$ 650 (Mon to Thurs) and US$ 680 (Fri to Sun).

 
For those who wish to love themselves head to toe, The Spa is offering a Rosé Petal Pedicure. Sip on a glass of sparkling rosé during this luxurious experience which begins with an exfoliating salt scrub, followed by a restorative bath soak and envelopment in warm towels infused with rose-oil. An application of Essential Moisturizing Balm infused with Rose Germanium leaves the skin smooth and nourished before the guest’s choice of color is applied. Available at US$ 100.
