Pune/Mumbai, June 11 (IBNS): After a span of 36 months, the CBI arrested a man from Mumbai's Panvel area on Friday, in connection with the murder of rationalist Narendra Dabholkar, who was shot dead on the morning of Aug 20, 2013, reports said.
Virendra Tawde, a doctor by profession, is said to be one among the others involved in the murder of the rationalist.
Tawde was interrogated by the CBI on Friday and will be produced in a Pune court on Saturday.
Dabholkar was murdered near the Omkareshwar temple in Pune, while he was on a morning walk.
He had vouched for the anti-superstition bill, considered anti-Hindu by right wing groups.
