Islamabad, Mar 17 (IBNS): Pakistan hanged to death twelve death row convicts in different cities across the country on Tuesday, media reports said.
"The executions were among 14 death sentences scheduled to be carried out on Tuesday at different jails in Karachi, Multan, Jhang, Gujranwala, Mianwali, Faisalad and Rawalpindi. Two execution orders were stayed in Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan," Geo News reported.
The latest executions occurred months after the government lifted a moratorium on death penalty.
