3.5 earthquake hits Assam

Guwahati, Apr 29 (IBNS) An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter Scale hit Assam on Wednesday, officials said.

The quake measured 3.5 on the scale.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday said the epicentre  of the quake , which hit at 0048 hours, was located at latitude 26.8 degree north and 92.5 degree east at Sonitpur district in the state.

No casualty or damage to property has been reported so far.
