AAP MLA held by police for assaulting senior citizen
New Delhi, June 25 (IBNS) Police on Saturday detained Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Dinesh Mohaniya allegedly for assaulting a senior citizen for failing to recognize him, reports said.
The incident took place in his office on Friday.
It has been alleged that the lawmaker from Sangam Vihar constituency and his supporters roughed up few people, including a 60-year-old man when they went to Mohaniya's office to complain about irregular water supply.
