Afghanistan: Khanabad district reportedly under Taliban control
Kabul, Aug 20 (IBNS): In a major setback to the Afghanistan government that is trying to prevent Taliban operations in the country, the Islamist terror outfit has reportedly taken over Khanabad district in Kunduz, reports said.
An official from the district confirmed the development, Khaama Press reported.
Kunduz was briefly set free from the Taliban, who had captured the strategic city last year.
