Arvind Kejriwal invites Kiran Bedi for a public debate
New Delhi, Jan 20 (IBNS) A day after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) named Kiran Bedi as their chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday invited the former top cop for a public debate.
"@thekiranbedi congrats 4 being nominated as BJP's CM candidate. I invite u 4 a public debate moderated by neutral person n telecast by all," Kejriwal tweeted.
He also asked Bedi to 'unblock' him on micro-blogging site Twitter.
".@thekiranbedi Kiranji, i used to follow u on twitter. Now, u have blocked me on twitter. Kindly unblock me," the former Delhi CM tweeted.
Kejriwal will file his nomination papers for the polls on Tuesday.
Kejriwal will contest the polls from New Delhi seat. Delhi Assembly elections will be held on Feb. 7.
