Bodies of Pathankot terrorists buried after four months
New Delhi, May 5 (IBNS) The bodies of four terrorists, shot dead by security forces during the attack on the Pathankot Indian Air Force base were buried by Punjab Police on Wednesday at a Muslim burial ground.
Media reports quoted top government sources as saying that the burial took place at 2 am, after a wait of four months.
Pakistan didn't claim the bodies despite filing an FIR in its own country.
Officials said the Pakistani Joint Investigation Team didn't bother to see the bodies of the terrorists during its visit to the Pathankot IAF base.
The reports said the place of burial is near to the place where the bodies of three terrorists involved in July 2015 Dinanagar Police Station attack were buried.
The Pakistani terrorists had stormed the Pathankot air base on January 2, 2016 and engaged the forces in a fierce gunbattle for two days.
