CISF should carry out special security audit every four months: Singh
New Delhi, Mar 10 (IBNS) Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said the CISF should carry out special security audits at all important strategic installations every four months to increase its preparedness.
He was making the remarks at an occasion to mark the 46th Raising Day of CISF.
"CISF is a paramilitary force which has maximum public interaction and acts as a public interface," Singh said.
"CISF is a dynamic force and also a well diversified force. CISF has diversified in many areas but it should retain its core competence," he said.
Singh said: "CISF should carry out special security audits at all important strategic installations every four months to increase its preparedness."
"Happy to know that CISF is providing security consultancy services," he siad.
He said if the issue is marketed aggressively then CISF can become a 'big player' in this area.
Singh said the CISF is ready to become one of the most modern and hi-tech security force of our country.
