Delhi: BJP auto union calls strike, Kerjiwal sees red
New Delhi, Apr 16 (IBNS) The BJP auto union in Delhi, which is observing a strike on Saturday in protest against the ongoing odd-even policy for vehicles, but Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that nothing can stop the newly imposed rule from becoming a success.
Under the odd-even rule, a car number with odd numerical values will be allowed to drive on a odd number date and the same is applicable for the even ones.
"BJP appeals ppl to break odd-even. BJP auto union calls strike.BJP wants odd- even to fail.But Del will fail BJP," the Delhi CM tweeted.
"In Jan too, BJP tried to fail odd-even by orchestrating officers' strike. Ppl failed BJP n made odd-even success," he said.
Showing trust in the people of Delhi, Kejriwal said, "RSS n BJP want odd-even to fail but Delhi will fail BJP yet again."
