DMK appoints MK Stalin as working president

Chennai, Jan 4 (IBNS): The DMK on Wednesday appointed party treasurer and opposition leader in the state assembly, MK Stalin, as its working president, reports said.

Stalin was elevated to the post of working president as his father and party patron M Karunanidhi is not keeping well.

Karunanidhi, 92, did not attend the general council meeting on Wednesday.
