Doctor in Gujarat hospital charged of raping patient
Gandhinagar, Sep 9 (IBNS): Gujarat police arrested a doctor and an attendant of Gandhinagar's Apollo hospital for allegedly raping a dengue patient earlier during the week, reported the media on Friday.
The 21-year-old woman was admitted to hospital on Saturday and was in the ICU.
In a letter to her uncle on Thursday, the woman complained that she had been given some drug before being raped, so she could not fight back, NDTV reported.
A medical examination has confirmed that the young woman was raped, according to media reports.
