Driven acquisition to strengthen DriversKart business
Chennai/Kolkata, May 11 (IBNS) Get Driven Technologies Pvt. Ltd, which owns DriversKart, Indias leading on-demand driver service provider, has acquired Driven in an equity and cash deal.
DriversKart recently closed a round of angel funding led by Namit Agarwal, Primarc Group, ApurvaSalarpuria, Lead Angels and ah! Ventures along with other silicon valley investors.
Driven has a well established presence in Mumbai and provides access to around 150 driver partners, servicing around 1000 customers every month.
With this acquisition, DriversKart said it is now established as a market leader in India’s on-demand driver marketplace.
DriversKart is already servicing 10,000 rides a month and is present in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Pune.
The company said it has been the preferred driver provider for self-drive car rental companies such as Zoomcar, Justride, etc., and has a strong presence in both B2B and B2C segments.
Vinit Srivastava, co-founder and CEO of Driverskart said, “Driven has a very strong team and good presence in the Mumbai consumer market and there is immediate value in this deal for DriversKart. We get access to a team who was equally excited and passionate about this space and have had tremendous learnings in short span of time.”
Driven founder and CEO, Shivalik said, “We are quite excited about this development. We believe that this acquisition helps Driven to be part of a bigger brand and together we will provide greater reach across the country.”
Mr. Sidharth Pansari , Director Primarc Group welcomed the move and said, “ We see great potential and value in this space for growth and consolidation. With this acquisition DriversKart is set to get leadership position in this arena.”
India’s first multi-city drivers aggregation company, DriversKart provides real-time personal drivers so that you can travel in the comfort of your own car.
The driver hiring market in India is a highly disorganised sector in India. Also, with no proper background checks, hiring drivers from local agencies can also be a security hassle.
DriversKart is India’s first organized on-demand personal chauffeur service. It offers on-demand service with cost-effective, real time pricing.
So whether it is a late night party, an emergency or a hospital visit, a drop to or pick-up from the airport, or any other occasion where you are not likely to drive or your own driver has not arrived, you can safely use DriversKart and its team of highly-trained and verified drivers.
The booking process is easy with facilities such as availability of driver profiles, customer feedback and mutli-city presence.
