Global Impact Sourcing Award for Talent assessment firm HireMee by IAOP
Bengaluru: Talent assessment platform HireMee enables equal access to opportunities for small town youth in India by connecting them with employers in pursuit of its vision of India where no talent is unemployed or underemployed’ won the Global Impact Sourcing Award (GISA) from IAOP, the premier global organization dedicated to shaping the future of business.
The award that recognises HireMee’s significant contributions to impact sourcing was handed over to HireMee Sr VP and Business Head Venkatraman Umakanth at the IAOP convention OWS24 on May 21 in Chicago by Jon Browning, CEO of the Global Mentorship Initiative set up as part of the Rockefeller Foundation’s Digital Jobs Initiative that facilitates career opportunities for young people worldwide.
“Nearly 60% of 270,000 interview opportunities created by HireMee since inception in 2017 have gone to students from Tier-3 and Tier-4 towns, with almost half of these opportunities for women candidates.
“HireMee has helped over 700,000 talented small-town youth get assessed at no cost by assessing them free of cost and connecting them with companies, big and small, that value diversity and inclusivity,” adds Umakanth.
HireMee’s commitment to creating positive social and environmental impact within their communities was an important criterion for IAOP to pick HireMee.

HireMee provides artificial-intelligence (AI) proctored assessment covering 7 sections including core domain for students pursuing their diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The assessment scores of test takers are shared with companies that list on HireMee platform without any fee.
