New Delhi, Feb 24 (IBNS) Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said he would speak in Parliament on the issue of JNU but the government is trying to stop him as they are scared of what he is going to say.

"They will not let me speak because they are scared of what I am going to say. But I will speak," he told reporters outside Parliament even as it braced for a showdown with the Opposition over the issue of JNU arrests and Dalit student Rohit Vermula's suicide.

Earlier, Parliament's upper house Rajya Sabha was adjourned on Wednesday after a ruckus was raised over the issue of Dalit student Rohit Vermula's suicide.

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati  raised the issue of Rohit Vermula's suicide in Rajya Sabha attacking the RSS for its role in the tragedy.
