HP Judge suspended over sexual harassment complaint of colleague

Shimla, Jul 2 (IBNS) A judge in Himachal Pradesh has been suspended following a sexual harassment complaint by a woman judge.

The judge faces the accusation of his colleague of harassing her on June 8, during a trip to Manali hill town for a conference on drug abuse, reports said on Thursday.

 Both are trial court judges.

The complainant says the judge tried to force her to go with him to a resort and teased and harassed her.

The state Chief Justice has put under suspension the judge pending a detailed inquiry to be completed within two months.
