India condemns assassination of Russian Ambassador in Ankara
New Delhi, Dec 20 (IBNS): India's Ministry of External Affairs, in a statement released on Tuesday, condemned the assassination of Russian Ambassador in Ankara.
The release stated -- India strongly condemns the tragic assassination of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Turkey. We are deeply saddened and shocked by this dastardly act. We offer our condolences to the family of Ambassador Andrey Karlov and share their pain and grief. There can never be any justification for violence and terrorism.
The Russian envoy Andrey G. Karlov was assassinated while he was visiting an art exhibition in Ankara on Monday evening, according to media reports.
