Indian citizen arrested in Pakistan for holding PNIC

Islamabad/New Delhi, Feb 19 (IBNS) An Indian national was arrested on Thursday in Islamabad by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for holding a Pakistani National Identity Card (PNIC), according to reports.

Pakistani daily Dawn reported that Rustam Sadhua, the Indian citizen had acquired the NIC by fraudulent means and was arrested after the court rejected his pre-arrest bail plea.

He arrived in Pakistan in 1982 and later obtained the NIC.
