Irans Revolutionary Guards threaten major US tech firms with retaliatory strikes starting April 1
Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has issued a stark warning, claiming it will target 18 major American technology and industrial companies, including Apple, Google, Meta, IBM, Tesla and Boeing, starting April 1.
In a statement released Tuesday, the Guards accused the firms of being complicit in the “targeted assassination” of Iranian officials.
It warned that, beginning 8:00 pm Tehran time on April 1, the companies should “expect the destruction of their relevant units” in retaliation.
The statement also urged employees at these companies to immediately evacuate their workplaces, adding that civilians living within a one-kilometre radius of related facilities should leave the area for safety.
Other firms named include Microsoft, Intel, Dell, Nvidia, Cisco, Oracle, HP and JPMorgan Chase, among others.
Labeling them “terrorist companies,” the Guards alleged that US authorities and major tech firms had ignored repeated warnings to halt operations it claims were used to identify and track Iranian officials for assassination.
The threat comes amid escalating tensions between Iran and the United States.
US President Donald Trump has said Washington is pursuing diplomatic efforts to end the conflict, even as it signals readiness to intensify military action alongside Israel if required.
Iran has also reported the deaths of several senior figures, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Revolutionary Guards chief Mohammad Pakpour, and senior official Ali Larijani, in strikes linked to the ongoing conflict.
