JIS Group MD Sardar Taranjit Singh receives Gurukul Awards in Life Time Achievement category
Kolkata, Aug 20 (IBNS): Sardar Taranjit Singh , Managing Director of JIS Group received the sixth level of Gurukul Awards in the Life Time Achievement Category.
He received the award recently at a function in Vidya Mandir organized by the Lions Club of Kolkata.
The JIS Group also received the Best Educational Group Award for this year.
“I am really honored and humbled to receive the Life Time Achievement award and I pray that our Group sincerely can carry on the work in the educational field and reach more milestones,” said Sardar Taranjit Singh.
The Gurukul Awards, conceived and conceptualized by Founder & Chairman, Ashissh Jhunjhunwalla, was launched in 2007.
Gurukul Awards honour the bond between the teacher (Guru) and Shishya (student) and are given to those who have managed to keep this sacred tradition alive.
