Kejriwal joins Modi-Nitish war of words over DNA issue
New Delhi, Aug 19 (IBNS) Joining the "DNA comment row" between Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has taken a swipe at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his comment while expressing solidarity with the Bihar Chief Minister.
"Now that the Bihar polls are approaching everyone should watch 'Manjhi' to know what the DNA of Bihar is made of," he said on Tuesday evening after a special screening of Manjhi - The Mountain Man.
The biographical film is based on the life of a man who carved a path through a mountain in Bihar using a hammer and chisel.
Kejriwal hosts Nitish Kumar at a function in Delhi on Wednesday ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections due by November.
People from Bihar in Delhi will be felicitated at the function.
PM Modi recently launched scathing attacks on Nitish Kumar during electioneering in Bihar, making an oblique comment on his "DNA" while trying to drive home his point that the Chief Minister had ditched several of his political friends in his career.
His comment gave Nitish Kumar a handle to score points over Modi as he made it an issue saying the comment was an insult to the people of Bihar.
