Lunch with the queen and welcome by Indian diaspora at the Wembley to mark PM Modi's second day programmes
London, Nov 13 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Friday have lunch with Queen Elizabeth and then address the Indian community at the Wembley Stadium in one of the most important events in his three-day UK visit.
After a meeting in the morning with his UK counterpart David Cameron, PM Modi will attend a roundtable of UK CEOs, reports said.
He will then head to Buckingham Palace for lunch with the Queen, hosted in his honour.
Later in the day, Modi will address some 60,000 members of the Indian community at Wembley Stadium. The British PM will also be present at the function.
On Thursday, Modi spoke at the Royal Gallery of the British Parliament and held bilateral talks with Cameron.
He also addressed UK's top industry leaders at London's Guildhall, and called for investing in India.
Following the bilateral talks, India and UK announced deals worth 9 billion pounds. The two countries also signed a civil nuclear pact.
At the Royal Gallery of the British Parliament, PM Modi asserted India's stance on climate change. "We need a social movement against extremism in countries where they originate," he said.
