Mahadayi Water verdict: Karnataka observes state-wide shut down on Saturday
Bangalore, July 30 (IBNS): A daylong shutdown is being observed in Karnataka in protest against the Mahadayi Water Dispute verdict, reports said.
Almost 1200 pro-Kannada groups have weighed in their support to the dawn-to-dusk strike, The Times of India reported.
According to reports, though few auto rickshaws are plying, movement of vehicular traffic is much below normal.
Schools and other educational institutions and offices have declared a holiday, while medical stores are open.
