New Delhi, Aug 12 (IBNS) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be among the prominent figures at a tea party to be held on Wednesday where several opposition parties are expected discuss ways to ensure defeat of the BJP in the coming Bihar Assembly elections.
Reports said the meeting will be held at the Delhi residence of Nationalist Congress Party or NCP chief Sharad Pawar.
Opposition stalwarts like Samjawadi Party's Mulayam Singh Yadav and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal representing the Aam Aadmi Party will attend the meeting.
Janata Dal(U) chief and Bihar Chief Minister . Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu prasad will send their party representatives.
During a dinner meeting at Kejriwal's residence on Tuesday night, the AAP convenor was reportedly persuaded by Banerjee to attend the meeting.
But Congress, which is contesting the Bihar elections as a partner of the JD(U) has not been invited.
Arvind Kejriwal of the Aam Aadmi Party has said he will not to field candidates in the Bihar elections to ensure anti-BJP votes are not split.
