Mamata, PM exchange New Year greetings
Mumbai, Jan 21 (IBNS) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have exchanged New Year greetings, making the two leaders exchange thank you tweets with each other.
While Banerjee wished Modi in Gujarati, the Prime Minister used Bengali to greet the West Bengal CM.
"Received very touching New Year greetings from @MamataOfficial ji & that too in Gujarati! I thank Mamata Didi & wish her a great 2016," Modi tweeted.
Banerjee said: "Glad you liked the New Year greetings I sent you in Gujarati. Thanks too @narendramodi ji for the greetings you sent me in Bengali."

West Bengal is gearing up for the Assembly polls this year which is likely to see a battle between the BJP and the TMC to win seats.
