Modi appeals to lawmakers ahead of budget session second half
New Delhi, Apr 25 (IBNS) As the second half of the Budget Session of Parliament begins on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to all lawmakers to make it productive and discuss issues openly in democratic spirit.
"The first part was very productive and all lawmakers made it possible. I hope this time also people we will discuss issues openly and take democracy forward," he said ahead of the session.
The second half of the Budget session is likely to be stormy with opposition parties coming together to attack the government on the imposition of Presidents’ rule in Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh, etc.
A total of 15 sittings till May 13 are scheduled.
