Never called Aamir Khan a traitor : Manoj Tiwar
New Delhi, Jan 9 (IBNS) As a political row broke out following removal of Aamir Khan as the brand ambassador of Incredible India, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has denied having called the actor a traitor during Parliament panel meeting on tourism, reports said.
Tiwari, however, maintained that Aamir Khan should no longer be the face of Incredible India.
Speaking on intolerance issue, the actor had said that his wife Kiran Rao had suggested leaving the country over rising intolerance.
Meanwhile, the Opposition has started a political war with the Centre over Aamir Khan's ouster as Incredible India ambassador. The Congress has sought a clarification from the Centre, seeking details if a new agency will be given the contract and if the new ambassador would promote the campaign for free as Aamir Khan did.
The Centre has, meanwhile, assured MPs that they will write to them in 10 working days on the government's position.
