One killed in suicide blast outside Gaddafi Stadium
Lahore, May 30 (IBNS) A sub-inspector was killed and six others injured in a suicide blast outside Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore where the second one day international (ODI) match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe was ongoing, media reported on Saturday.
Policemen stopped the bomber before he could enter the outer wall of the Gaddafi Stadium where he blew himself upon Friday night, killing the sub-inspector, Geo News reported.
The Pakistan Broadcasters Association and the information ministry earlier decided to not report the incident in order to avoid any untoward incident.
The ODI , however, remained uninterrupted amid the explosions.
