Parasmal Lodha arrested by ED at Mumbai airport

Mumbai/Kolkata, Dec 22 (IBNS): Kolkata businessman Parasmal Lodha was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at the Mumbai Airport on Thursday morning, reports said.

He was trying to abscond the nation.

Lodha was allegedly involved in a note changing scam and altered old defunct notes for sand mafia Sekhar Reddy and Delhi based lawyer Rohit Tandon.

The businessman decided to move out of India following raids at both Tandon and Reddy's property.

The ED will produce the Kolkata businessman at a court later today, reports added.
