PM Modi does Obama: To hold direct interaction with citizens at Delhi indoor stadium today
New Delhi, Aug 6 (IBNS) : Making the first move of its kind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with citizens at an indoor stadium in Delhi to set up a direct contact with them on the performance of his Government, which has completed two years.
The interaction is said to be fashioned after US President Barrack Obama's Town Hall address.
Besides Modi, top ministers of his Government will be at the programme to engage with an audience of about 2,000 people.
The event marks two years of MyGov, the government's citizen engagement platform.
According to reports, a new app will be launched to allow mobile users to connect with website of the Prime Minister's Office.
The Prime Minister will talk about the concept of citizen engagement while his. Ministers will answer questions on the Government's working and performance.
The programme comprises four sessions and panel discussions.
