PM Modi lays 10-point plan to tackle terrorism at G-20 Summit
Antalya, Turkey, Nov 16 (IBNS) Terming terrorism as a threat to open societies, PM Modi has proposed a 10-point plan to tackle 'one of greatest human challenges' at the G-20 Summit.
Modi called for a much stronger role of the UN in curbing down terror. He along with other global leaders raised the burning issue of 'foreign jihadists', and in a joint statement said that it must be controlled.
The leaders also said that they were ready to counter extreme terrorism and will be dealing with it strictly, cutting access to information and technology for these terrorists.
The Summit began with a minute's silence, observed for the departed lives in the French terror accack.
