PM Modi to host dinner for ministers
New Delhi, Oct 20 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is hosting a dinner for all his ministers on Monday evening, according to media reports on Monday.
The meeting is likely to be attended by all his 44 ministers.
Modi, who came to power about five months ago, is likely to address his ministers on key issues.
Modi is emboldened by the electoral gains of the party in Maharashtra and Haryana a day ago.
As a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wave resulted in the win of the party in the two states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday thanked party workers for the "historic" performance.
"Historic results! A matter of immense happiness & pride for BJP. I salute our Karyakartas [party workers] for their tireless efforts," tweeted Modi.
BJP surged ahead in the key state of Maharashtra winning in 123 seats in the 288 member assembly emerging as the single largest party though short of a clear majority, but is all set to form the next government in Haryana snatching it again from Congress by bagging 47 of the 90 seats.
