PM Modi to meet military chiefs today to review security

New Delhi, Oct 8 (IBNS) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Force on Tuesday to review security, reports said.

The review meeting is one in the series being held since the  surgical strikes conducted across the Line of Control in September  to destabilise terrorist launch pads.

According to reports, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will be  present at the meeting. 

The surgical  strikes were carried on after a series of attacks by Pakistani terrorists in India targeting army bases.
