PM Modi to visit Varanasi today
New Delhi, Dec 22 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Varanasi on Thursday.
The PM broke the news on Twitter.
"Looking forward to visiting Varanasi & interacting with citizens. I will be joining various programmes during my visit today," his tweet read.
In a series of tweets PM Modi announced his schedule and said that he will be interacting with BJP workers and inaugurating a couple of hospitals.
"Will lay the foundation stone for Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre & Centenary Super Speciality Hospital," he tweeted.
"Will inaugurate a Trade Facilitation Centre & Crafts Museum and launch schemes & programmes of @TexMinIndia during the Varanasi visit," a second tweet read.
"Foundation stone for a ESI super speciality hospital will also be laid. All these development works will greatly benefit people of Varanasi," another tweet added.
He said that the following programmes will aid in the development of the region and the people.
"There will also be an interaction with booth level @BJP4India Karyakartas working in the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat. @BJP4UP," his tweet read.
Prime Minister Modi is also the Member of {Parliament from Varanasi.
