Police corrupt and ineffective under PMO and LG, says Kejriwal
New Delhi, Dec 16 (IBNS): Accusing the PMO and Lieutenant Governor of indulging in politics with women safety in the national capital, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the law enforcers have become corrupt and ineffective under the former's rule.
"LG/PMO doing politics wid women safety in Del. LG stopped salaries of all employees in DCW. Police become corrupt n ineffective under them," Kejriwal's tweet read.
Kejriwal has been at loggerheads with both the Prime Minister and the Delhi Governor for some time now, often criticising them for interfering in his work.
The former is also a fierce critic of Prime Minister Modi.
Earlier, late on Thursday night, a 20-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a man posing as a cab driver, who committed the crime on the pretext of giving her a lift.
Police later nabbed the accused and seized his car, inside which the alleged crime took place.
