Pro-Khalistan slogans written on walls in Dharamshala ahead of World Cup matches
Khalistan supporters have become active before the World Cup matches starting in Dharamshala.
Khalistan supporters wrote the slogan of 'Khalistan Zindabad' with spray paint on the wall of a government department in Dharamshala.
SSP Kangra Shalini Agnihotri told UNI that the police have registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
She said the investigation team has been constituted and the investigation has started.
According to the information, some Khalistani supporters wrote the slogan of Khalistan Zindabad with black spray paint on the wall of the office of Jal Shakti Department.
A local person informed the police about this slogan written on the wall.
After information from the local person, ASP Veer Bahadur and ASP Hitesh Lakhanpal and the team of police station Dharamshala reached the spot.
The slogan written on the wall was erased in the presence of both officers.
SSP said police have started scanning the CCTV cameras installed in the departments.
Notably, even before this, some Khalistan supporters had written slogans in support of Khalistan on the wall of the assembly complex located at Tapovan and had put up a flag there.
Taking action on that, the police also detained some people.
Khalistani leader Pannu circulating a video with these slogans written on walls at Dharamshala put the authorities on tender hooks.
Now, before the five ICC World Cup matches to be held at Dharamshala , such actions have forced even the security agencies to think about these activities and to be on the alert mode.
