Rahul Gandhi dares Narendra Modi to investigate him
New Delhi, Nov 20 (IBNS) Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to investigate him and throw him in jail if found guilty.
Speaking at a gathering, commemorating the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on Thursday, Rahul lashed out at the BJP and RSS for the 'many allegations they flunged at him'.
"Modiji this your your government, you control the agencies. Let them investigate about me and if you find anything after six months throw me in jail," Rahul retorted.
He also attacked the BJP and RSS, and said that this was the usual pattern of both the bodies as he has witnessed them allege against his family on several occasion.
Gandhi's remarks were seen as diverting tactics by the BJP, who said that the 45-year old was simply trying to escape his recent gaffe, where he stated himself as a British National.
BJP leaders have also said that Rahul, who belongs from the Congress family need not tell the government about probation as it is already underway. They also said that the government is probing on several other scams, most likey the 2G spectrum and Gandhi son-in-law Robert Vadra and his assets.
