SC restrains CBI Additional Director
New Delhi, May 9 (IBNS) The Supreme Court on Friday restrained Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)'s first woman Additional Director Archana Ramasundaram from discharging her duties.
Seeking all files from the Centre related to her appointment, the apex court said it wants to know if Ramasundaram was appointed as per law or not.
Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu government on Friday suspended Ramasundaram saying she did not seek the state government's consent before joining her new duty.
