
Shiv Nadar University Applications for MBA Admissions 2018-19
Shiv Nadar University has invited applications for admission to its MBA programs. Students seeking to build their corporate career can apply for the same through their score obtained in various management entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, NMAT and GMAT.
SNU, established in the year 2011, is a prominent interdisciplinary research university that promises to offer the best of education to students. This renowned university offers different MBA programs, including undergraduate BMS program, iGlobal MBA program, and a PhD management program. The academic session for these MBA programs will be commencing from July 2018 by the school of management and entrepreneurship (SoME). Furthermore, an execute MBA degree and a one-year Advanced Management program has been offered, especially for working professionals.
Every year, SNU publishes the notification on its website to invite MBA aspirants. To provide better education opportunities, the school has collaborated with two foreign universities, including Peking University and Duke University. And for the development of Entrepreneurial leadership, the university has partnered with Babson College.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the program, a candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, having a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university. However, a degree from organizations such as ICWAI, ICSI, and ICAI is also accepted. All the admissions to the programs will be based on multiple factors, including written communication skills, past academic performance, work experience, marks attained in MBA entrance examinations such as GMAT, CAT, NMAT and XAT.
Application Process
Interested candidates can apply through the official website of Shiv Nadar University, i.e. www.snu.edu.in by entering the required details such as name, address, email id and contact number while filling up the form. Candidates must ensure that the contact details entered are active as well as valid. Furthermore, candidates have to upload their scanned photo and signature and proceed to the payment of fee before final submission of the form. The application fee is INR 1200 and must be submitted by the candidates through online mode, via net banking, debit card or credit card. The starting date of submission of application forms will be June 2018.
For admission to the MBA programs, candidates have to appear and qualify the entrance examination. However, the qualifying marks will be decided by the university so the candidates have to score more marks than the qualifying ones. As far as Shiv Nadar University Management Admission Test (SMAT) is concerned, the questions will be asked from Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude, Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning.
Each section will be of 40 marks and the candidates need to clear all three of the sections. The duration of the test will be 120 minutes. Candidates also have to appear for the Business Aptitude Test (BAT) and a personal interview thereafter.
