Tejashwi is Dy CM with the blessings of people of Bihar, wont resign: Lalu
Patna, Jul 12 (The BiharPost/IBNS) : Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad on Wednesdaystoutly opposed the demand for resignation of his son, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.
“There is just no question of Tejashwi resigning from his post. Is he the Dy CM with the blessings of the BJP? He has got the post with the support of the people of Bihar, RJD and the grand alliance, ” asserted RJD chief Prasad in an interview to a private TV news channel on Wednesday.
The main conspiracy of the BJP, he added, is to split the grand alliance so as to deny the importance of this alliance.
“The BJP only wants to break the alliance so that it could tell the masses that when it could not succeed even in Bihar then what will be its relevance at the national level, ” Prasad explained.
Finance minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui too denied any change in the stand of the RJD despite resignation demand by the JD-U as well as the BJP.
“The RJD legislature party meeting has already made its stand clear, ” Siddiqui explained, replying to a query from the journalists.
