UP: Businessman, family fatally shot; Incident caught on CCTV
Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, Jun 7 (IBNS): A businessman, his wife and his son were fatally shot outside their residence by unidentified gunmen on Tuesday night, reports said.
The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh's posh Sitapur area, situated about 90 kilometres from Lucknow, the state capital.
The whole act has been caught on CCTV.
The slain businessman has been identified as 60-year-old Sunil Jaiswal.
Footage showed that he was shot outside his residence in Civil Lines at around 9:30 pm, when he resisted an attempt from the gunmen, who were trying to snatch his bag.
Upon hearing gunshots, his son and wife rushed to the spot and were shot too, killing all three outside the gate.
Another man, who identified himself as a neighbour of the deceased, was also shot at when he tried to intervene, but survived the attack.
Police are yet make any arrest pertaining to the murder.
