Vicky Kaushal says Katrina Kaif holds budget meeting with staff every week
Mumbai : When it comes to celebrities, people often have a painted image of them busy throughout the year with very little time for household issues considering the amount of time they devote to their craft.
But if there is any exception, Bollywood superstar Katrina Kaif is surely the one. And the fact is revealed by none other than Katrina's actor husband Vicky Kaushal.
While promoting his upcoming Hindi film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Vicky narrated how his wife takes stock of the budget, holds meetings with staff and the entire scenario is witnessed by him.
Speaking to News Tak, Vicky said, "The most fun experience is when she (Katrina) holds a meeting in the house every week, or every other week. She gets the entire staff together, and discusses the budget of the house.
"She takes account of how the money is being spent, the expenses and it’s a great thing. But when that discussion happens, I enjoy it. I’m an audience and I sit with popcorn."
Throwing light on their way of spending, Vicky said with a fair share of wit, "It depends on what we are buying and who is more interested in that. If we are buying something that I am more interested in, then she says that we should stick to the budget.
"If it is something she is interested in, then I say ‘why so much…’ and then she says, ‘No no, I am fond of this'."
Earlier while promoting his film, Vicky had shared how Katrina had planned buying an expensive bar which was worth his signing amount.
The 'Uri' actor had said, "We have a lot of discussions about furniture at home. Like for example, Madam (Katrina) wants to have a bar at home.
"She sent me the bar she is thinking to buy, I saw that and thought yeh bohot mehenga hai, main hi tray leke kahada ho jauga but ye nahi aayega (I would myself stand with a tray, but we can’t buy it because it is too expensive). This is worth my signing amount! So I said, no, this can’t happen."
Vicky and Katrina, who never shared onscreen space, got married in 2021.
