AAP targets BJP over its advertisement
New Delhi, Feb 6 (IBNS): A day before Delhi will vote to elect its new Assembly, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over its front page advertisement, published in various newspapers on Friday.
AAP leader Ashutosh questione the source of the money for publishing the advertisement and said it was violation of the Model Code of Conduct.
In a series of tweet, he said: "Such ADs after campaigning stopped are violation of EC model code of conduct. Also shows how much money BJP HAS.Such ADs are not allowed in TV. Why they are allowed in newspaper ? Law should change."
"From where BJP gets money to give front page AD in every newspaper. These ADs are most expensive and costliest," he said.
Ashutosh tweeted: "Every paper in Delhi is carrying front page BJP AD. What is the source of money ? AAP's fight is Ag money power."
AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal also targeted the BJP over the advertisement and tweeted: "BJP has highlighted its 7 months achievemnts in its full page ads today. Do these achievemnets excite u? R they as per ur expectations?"
Delh will vote to elect the new Assembly on Saturday.
