Bengal road mishap kills 8
Kolkata/West Midnapore, May 12 (IBNS): A deadly road accident on Thursday killed eight people and left 22 others injured at Belpahari in West Bengal's West Midnapore district, reports said.
According to reports, a Belpahari-bound pick-up van, which was coming from Bandoan in Purulia district, lost its control and dashed against a tree beside the road at Tamajhuri area under Belpahari Police Station.
At least eight passengers were killed on the spot. Twenty-two others were rescued and admitted to Jhargram District Hospital with serious injuries.
