BJP is going to trounce BRS and Congress in Telangana polls: Modi
Hanumkonda: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday exuded confidence that the BJP will trounce the ruling BRS and Congress in the upcoming Assembly election in Telangana.
Addressing a public meeting after laying foundation stone for multi projects worth Rs 6,100 crore at Warangal, Modi said the BJP showed a trailer in the 2021 Municipal election in Hyderabad and now, the party is going to wipe out BRS and Congress in the next election.
"Though Telangana might be a new-born state, the contribution of its people in India's history has always been great," he said.
The projects and initiatives of the Centre are benefiting Telangana in various ways and across sectors, said Modi.
Hitting out at BRS National President and Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao, he said that dynasty politics of KCR and his family is drowned in scams.
The PM said the investigation agencies have been keeping a tap on KCR and his family’s corruption practices in the state.
Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Tourism, and newly-appointed Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy and Member of Parliament, Bandi Sanjay among others were present on the occasion.
