BJP to send letters to 1.20 cr Delhi voters
New Delhi, Feb 3 (IBNS): In an effort to woo voters ahead of the crucial Delhi polls, the Centres ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) decided to send letters to all 1.20 crore electorates in the national capital, media reports said.
The initiative was taken as part the mega-outreach programme of the party to inform voters about the development work carried out by the Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in last nine months.
Sources said the letters will be addressed to the head of each family in the capital. All the letters are targeted to be delivered by February 5 - two days before the polling date.
Each letter will carry pictures of the PM Modi, party’s chief ministerial candidate for Delhi election Kiran Bedi and other local candidates.
Polling will be held in the 70-seat Delhi assembly on February 7 and the counting will take place on February 10.
